Professional Rodeo Announcer and Emcee

Rod Sterling is a former rodeo competitor turned announcer! He
discovered by his early attempts at rodeo that he'd make a better
talker than a rider. It's been said that he's a "natural" behind the
microphone. So Rod took a left turn and worked in the radio
broadcast industry in Alberta, British Columbia and Manitoba.
Then one day Bob Tallman suggested he give rodeo announcing a
try...the rest is history!

According to Rod "Rodeo has been a part of my life since I can
remember and definitely have a love...a passion for the sport! I have
also had an opportunity to work with and learn from some of the best
in the industry. I combine the love...the passion...and the knowledge
