| Rod MacBeth (Sterling) is a former rodeo competitor turned announcer! He discovered by his early attempts at rodeo that he'd make a better talker than a rider. It's been said that he's a "natural" behind the microphone. So Rod took a left turn and worked in the radio broadcast industry in Alberta, British Columbia and Manitoba. Then one day, Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame announcer, Bob Tallman suggested he give rodeo announcing a try...the rest is history! According to Rod "Rodeo has been a part of my life since I can remember and definitely have a love...a passion for the sport!
